We are happy to announce that Sayler had her puppies on July 27th. They are beautiful and are doing great! There are 8 girls (wow) and 2 boys–6 are blue and 4 are silver. Sayler is doing great as well. She is such a great mom! And of course, Max is quite proud as usual. We do have some girls still available. Please visit our puppy page for more info and pics of the pups!

Greetings to all of the ASD Kennels friends and family!
It is time for a long overdue blog about what’s going on around here. We have been enjoying a wonderful summer so far here in MT and the dogs are doing great. Around six months ago we transitioned from Purina Pro-Plan Lamb and Rice formula to a Natural, Premium dog food called Life’s Abundance. We wanted to try something that did not contain corn or wheat products, as our research led us to understand that since dogs are naturally carnivores, their bodies do not let them process corn and wheat proteins. Life’s Abundance also gave us the opportunity to make a high-quality food available to all of our clients, no matter where they live, through a devoted website: asdkennelsnutrition.com
Life’s Abundance Premium Health Food is made with select ingredients, including high-quality chicken and catfish meals, whole grains, nutritious vegetables and fruits, omega fatty acids and much more. They never use corn or wheat products and never use artificial flavors or colors. With Life’s Abundance, you can be confident that you are feeding your dog advanced nutrition.
I will list just a few of the real-life benefits of Life’s Abundance dog food that we have experienced so far: Smaller and less frequent waste from the dogs. Smaller amount of food necessary to meet the dogs nutritional requirements. Excellent coat health and complexion. Increased energy levels (like we really need it, right). Excellent puppy nutritional development with much less waste product in comparison to the previous high corn content of the Pro-Plan Puppy formula. Superior milk production for lactating mothers helping to sustain and grow healthy pups.
We have been very impressed overall with the performance of Life’s Abundance Pet Food and all natural treats. We of course would not recommend it if we didn’t believe in the qualities that it has shown us over the past six months. Make sure you try the Pet Food Calculator which will show you how economical Life’s Abundance really is. Even if you choose not purchase this dog food, we recommend you at least go to the website, asdkennelsnutrition.com, and view the video clip about what’s in your dog food. It is very informative and makes us all think, if we really consider our dogs to be a part of our family, don’t we want them to be as healthy as possible?
Thank you all for your time and consideration. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have, or if you haven’t sent an update to us recently we always welcome news from our ASD Kennels families!
Well Wishes from Alex & Stacy
ASD Kennels is proud to announce that we are donating the proceeds from a sale of a German Shorthair Pointer Puppy to Montana Firefighters and Friends , a St. Baldrick’s Event to raise money for Childhood Cancer Research to conquer kids cancer.
Each year, 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Cancer is the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. and Canada. Research saves lives.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government, more than $12 million in 2009 alone!
The puppy is an AKC German Shorthair Pointer Male puppy, who is white & liver patched and ticked. His coloring will darken as he ages. He comes from very strong hunting bloodlines. He will be an excellent family companion and/or a superb hunter! ASD Kennels will be in contact with potential purchasers of the puppy to provide education and support. The puppy will not be ready to go at the time of the event, but will be available for pickup May 8th, 2010. Shipping arrangements can also be made for an additional fee if need be. Contact us for more info on him.

To inquire on the sale of this puppy or for more info, please contact Alex or Stacy

We are looking forward to a busy, fun packed summer–if only the weather would cooperate! It feels more like fall around here lately, with even some winter mixed in! We have been busy with puppies, building projects, and of course, Trystan! Pictures coming soon of the new look of our kennels!
We have Weimaraner and Chesapeake puppies right now, and GSP’s on the way. We have had so many families come from a far to pick up their pups, which has been so much fun for all of us! We look forward to those coming in the next couple weeks as well. We have continued to be so blessed with wonderful families for our pups. It sure makes seeing them go so much easier!
We’d love to hear updates from you with pictures, as well as hearing from those who are looking to add an ASD pup to their family!
I have included some recent pics of our puppies in this post. You can see a lot more of them on our puppy page, and more of Trystan on our gallery page.
Happy Summer!

We have to apologize for the lack of blogging–so sorry! As you can see from the pictures below, we have been busy with our newest arrival, Trystan Alex. He was born on November 20th at 3 lbs 4oz, 2 1/2 months early. He had a rough start, but is now thriving, and is a 100% normal, healthy baby boy. He is wonderful!
We are excited for the year ahead at ASD, included great planned litters and more building projects! We have been so blessed with such wonderful clients, and look forward to meeting our new clients! We love hearing from you and seeing updated pictures and videos of your ASD pups, so keep sending them! For new potential clients, please let us know if you are looking to adding an ASD puppy to your family!
