Chesapeake Bay Retrievers
This dog breed originated in United States Chesapeake Bay area during the 19th century. Historically it was used to retrieve waterfowl, pull fishing nets and rescue fishermen. They are known for their love of water and ability to hunt. They are described as being bright and happy with courage and a willingness to work.
